Job Description

Manages Multinational Client Service to deliver service excellence to underwriters, brokers and clients when structuring QBE's Multinational Programmes. Reports to the Global Head of Multinational

• Provide business knowledge/expertise to support the Multinational growth initiative across relevant QBE divisions
• Contribute to Multinational business plans and results for all relevant QBE divisions
• Support the business planning function including budgeting and reporting for impacted divisions
• Manage delivery of Multinational services, processes, controls and standards to the agreed service standards
• Ensure that services are provided on a fully compliant basis to meet regulatory frameworks, industry best practice and tax treatments
• Forward planning and management to deliver adequate resourcing level, business continuity and succession planning across people, processes and systems including DR support activities
• Work closely with the senior QBE stakeholders, brokers and clients to deliver Multinational Programmes
• Facilitate and co-ordinate close collaboration across the business functions that impact the delivery of Multinational Programmes.
• Provide global business support/expertise to all areas of the business to increase capabilities across QBE
• Provide guidance, support and decision making around Multinational matters
• Responsible for ensuring that the necessary resources are in place, with adequate training and skills to deliver MCC Hub services to the required standards and service levels
• Implementing mandatory training and continued skills transfer to ensure delivery to standardised MCC Hub services
• Adhere to the Audit and Quality Assurance processes

Essential Requirements

• Highly effective communication both verbal and written with the ability to build and maintain productive internal and external relationships
• Client facing interaction at all levels
• Ability to present to Executives and engage effectively with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally
• Strong negotiation skills with excellent attention to detail
• Experience of managing teams to tight service levels in complex environment


Knowledge and Experience
• Multinational background in an underwriting environment
• Strong operational and service background
• Experience of operating at senior level with strong facilitation and leadership skills
• Experienced of working in challenging customer service environments
• Experience in managing complex business and change initiatives
• Experience of working in a global business with diverse cultural demands
