Job Description

Conduct loss control surveys on new and renewal business and provide loss control services to diverse, complex, large sized accounts, evaluating adequacy of hazard controls present and suggesting improvements where needed, and solicit new business form agents to support achievement of regional and business objectives.
  • Provide lead risk analysis and consultative services for multi-national and risk management accounts, serving as the technical expert for property and/or casualty business
  • Utilize expertise to evaluate the most complex technical risk operations, exposures, and controls, to reduce loss ratio for multi-national and risk management accounts
  • Effectively present recommendations to multi-national and risk management accounts to reduce risk exposures to loss resulting in profitable accounts
  • Identify and provide complex and comprehensive information on unacceptable/unsatisfactory risks for underwriting determination of next action/s
  • Utilize acquired technical knowledge to identify and control loss exposures
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders that may include underwriters, agents, and policyholders
  • Build relationships with key multi-national and risk management account stakeholders by utilizing individual credibility and applying business acumen to communicate risk factors to senior leadership, resolve technical complex inquiries and develop recommendations for continuous improvement and alignment with overall corporate risk strategy
  • Provide leadership in growing book of business by promoting loss control service capability
  • Review, analyze, communicate and resolve service concerns and issues from agents to appropriate management
  • Provide consulting and technical assistance, and training as the technical expert within property and/or casualty to senior underwriting and claims team/s
  • Manage budgeted resources by anticipating expenditures, accurately forecasting resource needs/costs and  properly accounting for expenses to meet requirements and achieve fiscal responsibility
