Job Description

Operational leader for Integration area who will manage operation support and enhancements to MuleSoft and WebMethods platform
  • Leads the overall operations of  Integration area (incl MuleSoft and WebMethods) . Includes : IT incident/problem escalation and communication, IT minor enhancements,  IT service level adherence and reporting, IT performance IT operational documentation and processes, IT capacity and performance management reporting.
  • Manage Integration Vendor Partnerships & Contracts – e.g. MuleSoft , WebMethods etc.
  • Serves as the tactical coordinator for critical issues that arise, coordinating as necessary with other IT technical teams and the business in identifying the problem and moving towards a resolution.
  • Continuously evaluate items escalated to higher tiers and identify activities/incidents which could be transitioned to Tier 1 and 2 support teams. Oversee the development of processes and associated training to successfully transition identified items.
  • Oversees day-to-day operations of support teams, including call scoring, ticket monitoring, prioritization and routing of critical issues, and individual coaching.
  • Attend Change Advisory Board meetings to participate in change decisions and coordinate application changes
  • Develops and maintains customer-centric procedures for processing and resolving technical and programming support calls, while reducing Total Cost of Ownership.
  • Accountable for ensuring adherence to Disaster Recovery Policy; responsible for maintaining Disaster Recovery Technical Recovery Plans (TRPs) and participating in Disaster Recovery exercises
  • Manage budgeted resources by anticipating expenditures, accurately forecasting resource needs/costs and  properly accounting for expenses to meet requirements and achieve fiscal responsibility
  • Develops and manages objectives to drive high levels of customer service and continuous improvement, while supporting all operational and infrastructure department metrics.
  • Recognizes and rewards employee contributions and achievements.
  • Establish/maintain a high-performance team of professional, motivated and engaged staff utilizing effective training, performance management and career-development activities while leading them to achieve established business results and performance metrics.
  • Coordinates with other functional teams to develop coverage plans and deploy team members to provide support to campus locations for on-site or local coverage (based on need).
  • Partners and serves as liaison between IT and Internal Audit Services to provide reporting and ensure key controls are being followed. Performs frequent audits to ensure team properly trained and following relevant operating procedures.
  • Participate in the creation and management of capital and operating budgets.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Management Information Systems


  • 7 years relevant experience in application development experience utilizing MuleSoft
  • Integration experience


  • Advanced working knowledge of technical documentation
  • Advanced working knowledge of software development lifecycle and relevant milestones; project management methodology
  • Advanced working knowledge of insurance terminology, property and casualty billing systems and policy administration systems
  • Advanced working knowledge of business and management principles involved in resource allocation and coordination of people and resources

  • Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is not substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions. Must have the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time. Must be able to operate basic office equipment including telephone, headset and computer. Incumbent must be able to lift basic office equipment up to 20 pounds.
